Keep in mind every location is photographed differently or similarly depending on the person that goes there and the outfits they bring - so yours would be tailored to your preferences and style. These are not ALL of the locations, this is just to give you a general example of some popular spots and the full senior session images that came from that spot!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- When will the Senior Model program begin?
Your consultation / info meeting is in February or early March and then we start right away with your first Model session in March! - When do senior sessions take place?
Not everyone may realize that senior photos typically take place during the Spring and Summer before Senior year begins. I encourage my models to take advantage of the great weather in June and July. I've found these months work the best with my seniors' and their families' busy lives! - If I want a Fall session, when should I book?
The earlier the better! If you wait too long, you might not get the season or the session you're looking for. Fall is notorious for last minute sign ups - SO many people 'forget' or 'forget to tell their parents' and sometimes we just can't accommodate the rush! The earlier you book, the more Liz can guarantee your session dates. For the Model Program, you must book by March 4th to get all of the added benefits of the Model Program.
- What does the Model Program all entail, whats involved?
See Above! Not only will you receive stunning senior photos, but you'll also have the opportunity to participate in sessions and events from the time you sign-up in Jan/Feb of Junior year until May of your Senior year. Starting with your sign-up, the first session is the Model Session. This shoot is 1 on 1, takes place in March, and is roughly only 5-10 minutes long. All of theses sessions and benefits are free when you sign up as a model!
+ 1-on-1 Model Session to take place before your senior session as a warm up to being in front of the camera in March.
+ Themed sessions, aka "play sessions" this year we're doing a larger than life Parachute Dress session! We'll be taking group photos, fun, silly, serious, whatever you want! You'll also be invited to wear and customize the parachute dress and skirt (above) at the beach while we let the wind take it and bring it to life! **Model favorite
+ BFF Session - Open to you and up to 3 friends that you invite to have your own mini session! This takes place in April - you'll be given the date right away so you and your friends can block the day off in your calendars as soon as you've signed up!
+ $125 Family Session normally $350 - these sessions take place in August and we schedule them as soon as possible. This is a way to get EVERYONE together before you / they run off in different directions! This has always been a fan favorite for Senior moms, dads, and grandparents. Designed for immediate family, however you are more than welcome to invite additional family members for $50/person. Additional family members need to be cleared beforehand to make sure we have enough time - the more extra people means the more combinations so it's just a matter of scheduling! This session is completely optional so please do not feel obligated! **Parent favorite
+ Grad Send Off Session - This is a 3 part session in May of the year you graduate. We'll be taking an updated headshot, cap'n'gown photos, and/or college, university swag photos to show off what you're looking forward to after you graduate!
+ First Pick In addition to all of the freebies, you'll have first pick of our senior session and family session calendar dates & times - INCLUDING our makeup and hair stylists whose schedules fill up EXTREMELY quick!
+ Be Featured in all of our marketing - website, products, videos, social media and more.
+ Online Gallery & Mobile App an online gallery of your model images from the entire year, in one easy to access place on your phone - complete with a gallery link to downloads and an online store for a fast and easy way to share images with friends & family!
+ Referral Program. Last but not least models receive referral credit to be put towards any print or product of their choice simply by asking their friends to name drop when they book their senior consultation and senior session. Not only will the model referring get credit, but so will their friends!

- I'm involved in a lot of sports, extra curricular activities, and am saving money for school... what if I don't have enough time to come to the model sessions or events?
No worries! There's only one mandatory shoot outside of your senior session: the model session. It's a quick intro session where we discuss your style, chat a bit, and help ease any pre-session nerves. These sessions are super short—around 5-10 minutes—so they won't disrupt your schedule. Plus, they all happen at Grant Park, Picnic Area 5&6 for easy parking options! - Do you have a hair stylist or makeup artist that can style me for my senior session?
Absolutely! We're incredibly lucky to have access to top-notch stylists, including Christina Gunderson, owner of The 'Do Hair Design. With nearly a decade of salon ownership and international experience as a stylist and educator, Christina brings unparalleled expertise to the table. She's not only a master of hairdressing but also certified in hair regrowth and corrective hair loss. Whether you have questions about thinning hair or just need advice on how to make your curls last, Christina has you covered!
Meet Jenna Hayes (@jennahayes3), our senior makeup artist, operating from her dedicated studio at home. With years of freelance experience, Jenna has perfected her artistry and application skills. Over the years, we've collaborated on numerous sessions, focusing on beauty makeup tailored specifically for photoshoots. She understands how makeup and the camera work together to achieve stunning results.
Rest assured, we also have backup stylists available in case Christina or Jenna are unavailable. Each stylist has been personally vetted by me and is equally exceptional. Hair and makeup aren't just about appearance; they're about boosting your confidence, which shines through in your photos. Whether you opt for full glam or a natural look, you'll love the transformation. - Is the senior model program for girls only?
Absolutely Not. The Model Program is open to both guys and girls, though we tend to have more girls simply because they enjoy having their photos taken and shared more often. However, we're all about inclusivity and celebrating each individual. Whoever you are, we want you to feel like the star of the show! He/him/she/her/they/them all are welcome. - Do models have to look a specific way to join?
Absolutely Not. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. We have absolutely no height, weight, gender, hair, or skin requirements. The only thing we ask is that you're a decent person. Bullying, whether in person or online, is never tolerated. - How many models are in the program?
We accept a maximum of 50 seniors each season, including both models and 'regular' senior clients. To ensure models receive extra attention and services, we limit the number of models to about 10-15.
- Why do we offer a Model program?
Because everyone deserves to shine in their own story, feeling beautiful/handsome, accomplished, confident, and celebrated.
- Models get to try out new locations, equipment, poses, themes, and styles, providing priceless feedback.
- Whenever we have new poses or locations, models are our first choice.
- We only use images that models love for our portfolios, websites, and social media, and you'll have access to all of them for your own use.
- LKPD collaborates with local, national, and international designers and stylists. For girls interested in pursuing modeling, we offer guidance on portfolio building, finding the right designers and stylists, and starting safely.
- We offer headshots, comp cards, and industry contacts. Once you're part of LKPD, we're here to support you for as long as you need. Many of our models stay in touch long after graduation, building each other up and offering ongoing support. - How much is a senior session?
Senior sessions are $295 for all. Additionally, clients invest an average of $1800-$2000 on prints and products, whether through a collection or a la carte over the next year. Keep in mind payment plans are available to all clients no matter how much you spend. We do this so our services are accessible to everyone.
- Both Senior Models and 'regular' Seniors pay the same amount, but Models enjoy added benefits, including free model/theme sessions throughout their tenure, a discounted family session, and an exclusive BFF session before graduation!
- Senior collections include an album of your favorites, digitals with printing rights, and product credit to use across all sessions you participate in. Pre-ordering a collection also unlocks bonuses like multiple locations and outfits for your session.
- Session bonuses add more locations, outfits, and images to your shoot. The base senior session ($295) includes one location and 2 outfits. For those interested in a la carte options, the menu starts at $100. You'll find the full pricing menu in your Welcome Guide upon signing up!
